UNICEF seeks a Deputy Representative to be based in its Jakarta, Indonesia Office. Under the overall guidance of the Representative, the Deputy Representative is responsible for the coordination, planning, development and management of a large-sized country programme of cooperation to improve the status of women and children in Indonesia.Your profile:Advanced university degree in social sciences, public administration, international relations, business administration, public health, education, or other fields related to the work of UNICEF.Ten years of progressively responsible professional work experience at the national and international levels in social development, management, monitoring and evaluation.Current knowledge of development issues, strategies, as well as programming policies and procedures in international development cooperation.Proven ability to conceptualize, innovate, plan and execute ideas, as well as to impart knowledge and teach skills.Leadership and organizational ability.Good analytical, negotiating, communication and advocacy skills. Computer skills, including internet navigation and various office applications.Demonstrated ability to work in a multicultural environment and establish harmonious and effective working relationships, both within and outside the organization.Fluency in English and another UN language required.
