UNICEF Indonesia is seeking highly qualified Indonesian nationals tofill the following positions:
VR 07-045 – Project Officer WES – Environmental SanitationDuty Station – Semarang , Central JavaTemporary Fixed-Term, NO-B LevelUnder the direct supervision of the International Project Officer, Water and Environmental Sanitation, the incumbent will assist in the design, implementation and monitoring of sanitation and hygiene knowledge, attitude and practice improvements in the project areas in Klaten, Central Java, and DI Yogyakarta provinces. Qualifications· University degree in Sanitary Engineering, Public Health, or related discipline.· A minimum of three (3) years of professional experience, at least partially in water and sanitation sector.· Up-to-date knowledge and understanding of sanitation and hygiene issues.· Proficient in the use of word processing and spreadsheet computer programmes.· Strong communication skills in English and fluent in Indonesian language, both written and orally.· Analytical and negotiation skills.· Be able to facilitate workshops and meetings.· Have good knowledge of database, mapping, and other relevant computer programmes· Works well in a team of multicultural environment with minimal instruction, good initative, and ability to apply technical knowledge creatively.· Ability to ensure conflicts and disputes are resolved between contractors and beneficiaries.· Aptly communicate to take remedial or corrective actions and ensure that facilities reach desired standards,· Good health and willingness to travel under difficult conditions.VR 07-046 – Project Officer WES – Water SupplyDuty Station – Semarang , Central JavaTemporary Fixed-Term, NO-B LevelUnder the direct supervision of the International Project Officer, Water and Environmental Sanitation, the incumbent will assist in the design, implementation and monitoring of sanitation and hygiene knowledge, attitude and practice improvements in the project areas in Klaten, Central Java, and DI Yogyakarta provinces.
